The search window (CTRL+F) in Visual Studio 2012 Express does not stay always visible, how to get it not to hide? Thanks.

DesignScript / DesignScript is a new scripting language for designers

DesignScript is a new scripting language for designers which is integrated with advanced geometric modeling and engineering analysis and simulation tools. We want to emphasize that this is a technology preview of an initial version of DesignScript. DesignScript is still under development and there are many more aspects of DesignScript and its supporting tools that have yet to emerge. So at this time DesignScript is not being presented as a complete, finished system, but an interesting ‘work in progress’ which demonstrates some highly innovative features of script based design. Never the less, even in its initial form DesignScript can already be used for some important forms of design exploration, which would be practically impossible to achieve with existing applications or indeed with existing scripting tools.

Visual Studio environment / This year’s API wishlist surveys for Autodesk Maya and Autodesk 3ds Max are now

Our Engineering teams use the results from these surveys to help steer their ongoing API development priorities, release on release. If you have feedback or specific requests regarding our APIs, this is a great way to get them in front of the right people inside Autodesk.

The deadline for completing these surveys is – July 25th, 2012 – so if you’re interested in providing us with feedback, please don’t procrastinate: while I expect they’ll remain open a little longer, the deadline probably won’t be extended by very much.

The open source version can override the version that comes standard with shipped Revit. The base version of the code here is based on R2012 UR1.
